In the fantasy series X-men, there are to subsets of homo sapiens: “normal” and those with the X-gene. I did not read the comics. I apologize if I m not conveying my understanding correctly. Apparently the X-gene allows for superior humans. They will dominate the globe and eventually the “normal” humans will become extinct or fall under the rule of the superior humans.
I feel we are experiencing this today. Only there are humans who understand intrinsic values are strength versus the humans who still uphold that extrinsic values are strength.
I believe humans who see strength in compassion and helping those in need are far superior to those who perceive strength as dominance over their peers. Humans who seek intelligence and human development over war and human dominance are superior. Humans who seek equality and justice for all are far stronger than those who believe they are superior to others based on race, location, or access to technology, money, and resources. Give everyone equal resources and then let’s see who is truly stronger, who can exceed expectations.
I wish we could separate the intrinsic humans from the extrinsic humans. Why? The very nature of intrinsically based humans means they will not result to corruption, dominance, lies, propaganda, and intimidation to rule. They will follow the rules while the extrinsic humans manipulate and destroy law and order. The intrinsic humans won’t sacrifice values to counter the fiendish nature of extrinsic humans. Therefore, they will always seem weaker as they lie in the background while the extrinsics scream and holler and create false narratives.
I’m not a real writer. I don’t want to use AI. I am probably not describing this as well as a real writer could. I just know humans are evolving…just not the way the loud, obnoxious, pedophile supporting, corrupt would lead you to believe.
